Cryptocurrency processing service BitPay claimed that it would support Bitcoin Cash’s “traditional” software implementation called Bitcoin ABC.
According to BitPay representatives, protocol’s update allows to implement innovation solution rapidly, but makes blockchain’s split into two competing chains possible. The company prefers Bitcoin ABC implementation and is not planning to provide access to the coins which are highly likely to appear on November, 15th, this year as a result of the hardfork.
The company offers the ones who want to get new coins to import BitPay private key to the wallet supporting both chains. Also, the company advises the users to avoid making Bitcoin Cash transactions on the Eve of hardfork.
Let us note that such major companies as Coinbase, OKEx and Binance also support implementation of traditional software Bitcoin ABC. At the same time, Poloniex exchanges is going to support both chains of Bitcoin Cash. |
