At first, Exodus will support only Ethereum (ETH), but it is planned to add support of Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC). A series of posts is published on Twitter’s page of HTC which tell about partnership with a Norwegian developer Opera – developer of Opera browser, reports Cointelegraph. ?The first world’s blockchain smartphone?, as HTC calls it, will use Opera as the main pre-installed browser. As Verge reports, new smartphone will also support Numbers dApp developed by HTC company itself. It is designed to control and manage user data and will allow to provide it to third parties and control how they use it. Management mechanism will be based on crypto tokens ensuring transparency and availability of data for companies which are interested in it. Why Opera? As the manager of HTC dApp development department claims, now it’s possible to make even micro payments, for example, 0,00002 ETH (equal to ~$0,0027). It made no sense to make such small payments earlier because of commissions. The company is also planning to implement a feature allowing every phone to become partial node in blockchain network. It will allow to implement new model of peer-to-per sales between phone owners. |
