Ethereum rate changed by 0,10% over 24 hours, decreasing to $107,53. XRP lost 1,16%, cheapening to $0,29776. Litecoin increased by 0,26% to $34,158.
It became known that a Japanese company DMM.com Inc stops mining crypto currency and shuts down a department which was responsible for mining. According to Мycrypter, a Japanese electric commerce giant decided to give up on mining business in the beginning of 2019 because of low level of profitability. The company is planning to develop a crypto currency exchange and blockchain technology.
Earlier, Politeka reported that the number of crypto holders would increase twice in the future. According to the results of ING Bank NV research, the level of interest to a developing technology will double in the future. A cording to the results of a survey carried out in Europe and USA, only 9% of Europeans hold crypto currencies. However, 25% of respondents are planning to buy digital assets in the future. 8% of US citizens already hold crypto currencies and 21% are going to buy them. Turkey is the leader among European countries: 18% of its citizens already hold digital money, 45% are planning to buy it in the near future.
Choosing an investment direction, Europeans are more likely to ask financial consultants or to visit topic-related sites, preferring them to friends’ and relatives’ advices. 27% of Europeans use special resources on the Internet and 21% of respondents prefer to use the services of financial consultants. |
