A professional Go player Lee Sedol has announced plans to create a blockchain version of the Chinese board game on the Ethereum platform. Lee Sedol will launch a project called GoBlock in collaboration with Korean company The Blockchain Inc. In the blockchain version of Go, the professional plans to commercialize match recordings, train newcomers and create amateur leagues for them. Also, GoBlock will release its own tokens to support leagues and players. He also intends to create a balanced reward system that provides rewards for players, viewers and advertisers.
