The Maltese islands continue to be a harbor for cryptocurrency companies. After the promulgation of three new laws regulating new cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, the country got its first two-way Bitcoin ATM by MoonZebra. Moon Zebra is a collaboration between Leon Siegmund, a self-confessed Bitcoin maximalist that was working hard to increase Bitcoin awareness and businessman Jonas Abrahamsson. Siegmund is one of the founders of Malta bitcoin club that always organizes events and meetups. In exclusive comments to CCN, Siegmund says that the idea of Bitcoin ATM is not new but it makes people more interested in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. |
