The cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb, which was attacked in June, will resume pay-ins and withdraws of ten cryptocurrencies on Saturday, August 4, at 5:00 Moscow time. The decision does not apply to 25 cryptocurrencies, the markets of which show suspicious activity within the exchange. Thus, operations with the following cryptocurrencies will be resumed: bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH), ripple (XRP), ethereum classic (ETC), qtum (QTUM), litecoin (LTC), bitcoin cash (BCH), monero (XMR), zcash (ZEC) and mithrill (MITH). Transactions with tron (TRON) and EOS will start after the exchange completes the exchanging procedure of their tokens for the crypto-currencies of the main networks. As stated in the message of the exchange, prices of some cryptocurrencies traded on Bithumb, are about 10% different from the standard market prices. They will not be included in this round in the interest of protecting customers’ assets. When the service is returned to normal, we can expect a quick change in the rates of these assets. Thus, the resumption of operations with these assets postponed for now. |
