Parity Technologies has integrated an early version of Casper update into its blockchain platform Substrate, reports CoinDesk. The code of experimental solution named as Shasper appeared on GitHub yesterday. Its peculiarity is that it combines sharding and Casper PoS update. Shasper is a combination of Casper and sharding, claimed Wei Tang. According to him, it’ll be possible to see significant improvement of Ethereum transactions’ performance right after its implementation. He also highlighted that a new solution was considered as a “basic skeleton” and that it had to undergo testing. Created by Ethereum developer and Parity founder Gavin Wood, Substrate platform is a module framework for various blockchain solutions. According to Wei, Substrate provides simpler tools for Shasper implementation in comparison with Ethereum network itself. |
